This package is a labor of love that has taken countless hours to complete.
I love my country...and I love my God. And I believe He loves America and wants to bless it.
I had been overwhelmed by the question 'is the sun going down or coming up in America?'.
And I couldn't get out of my mind the scripture verse in 2Chron 7:14 that tells us He will heal our land if we will turn, seek Him, and pray. And as a pianist, I kept hearing these three songs come together in a message that I couldn't get away from.

I had the vision for the painting, and finally decided to commence it. There were long hours of research to get just the right look and message, and proper representation of the variety of people in our land. I wanted to portray the diversity, and have them all holding hands in unity.
There are multi races, ethnicities, lifestyles, (and body types), and I had to include my dog!
I wanted the viewer to have plenty to observe in the people, but to keep coming back to the beauty of the flag illuminated by the sun. And I wanted to leave the question with the viewer: is it a sunrise or a sunset? I believe there is power in prayer - and the answer is up to us.

The music - it just wouldn't go away so I finally decided to get serious. I found a wonderful vocalist for the beautiful and haunting song "If My People Will Pray", and together we found the absolute perfect studio to record in. I got permission from the composer to record his song, and combined it in an arrangement with the other two very popular and powerful American classics.
I wanted the hearer to experience as powerfully as could be recorded the message that these three songs speak - when combined this way. I can't count the hours of planning or rehearsing, and I'll never forget them. I am the keyboard artist for the recording (my very first) and am happy to say the studio owner told me I could hold my own with his 'A' list of studio musicians! You won't just hear piano...we went for full orchestration to express the message.

It is my hope that with this package you will be inspired...both visually and audibly...and moved to action - personal reflection, prayer, and encouragement of others to do the same.
It is a dream of mine to have this package in the home of at least one family in each state, city and town in our country. I am working on a map showing torches lit across the country as these are being purchased. 

We have a great country...I hope this is a Sunrise!
